Greater Charlotte PCC is joining the Greater Triangle Area PCC and super excited to announce a special event Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 10:00-11:00 a.m. with guest speaker, Mr. Jonathan Topper of Topper Stamps & Postal History.  He will be bringing a much looked-forward-to presentation on How the Post Office operated in 1892.

Yes, you read that right, 1892!

Come learn how the US Post Office moved the mail in 1892. There were very few roads and no zip codes! Mail went by train and by horseback. Most people did not have a street mailing address. And it only cost two cents to mail a letter! We cannot wait to see all the photographs!

Mr. Topper is a life-long stamp collector and postal history researcher. He has been a registered stamp appraiser for the last 17 years and has served as an officer or a member of the Board of Directors in many state, national and international stamp collecting societies.

We are delighted to have him join us.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend and save this ZOOM link
