CHAPEL HILL, NC – the Chapel Hill Post Office sustained damage due to flooding caused by Tropical Storm Chantal, and mail that was in the post office during the flooding was damaged. We are in the process of determining which mailpieces can be delivered despite being damaged and which items are undeliverable.

CRYSTAL, MN — The U.S. Postal Service issued the schooner stamped card today at the Minnesota Stamp Expo. This new stamped card features a two-masted schooner sailing on open water. It is designed to be a convenient way to send postcards with attached paid postage.

Effective September 1, 2025, the Postal Service™ will revise Labeling List(s) L007, L012, L051, and L606 to reflect changes in mail processing operations. Mailers are expected to label according to these revised lists for mailings inducted on or after the September 1, 2025, effective date through October 31, 2025, expiration date. The changes will be published in the Postal Bulletin, Issue #22682.
