Registration Now Open for 2020 National PCC Day @ 2020.pccday.com.
National PCC Day is fast approaching and we are pleased to announce registration is now open. To register for National PCC Day click the following link: 2020.pccday.com. Please remind your PCC members they must register individually via the link to attend. Stay tuned for additional information about the PCC Day agenda, news and education offerings.

Registration Notes:
  • Once you click on the PCC link you will be asked a series of required questions.  You must answer the questions to register. 
  • After you register, you will be taken to a web page where you can download the National PCC Day event to your calendar.  Please make sure you download the event so it will populate on your calendar.
  • The PCC Day platform will work on most web browsers, however, for optimal viewing, we recommend using  Chrome or Firefox.  The platform does not work on Internet Explorer.  When you receive your confirmation email there is a link where you can test your system.  Please test your system right away to make sure it is compatible with the National PCC Day platform.

Note:  The one-hour agenda titles and breakout session topics may slightly change.  All sessions will be recorded and posted for future PCC use. 
The National PCC Day 2020 Professional Certificate will be sent to all PCC members who join the HQ one-hour virtual event, starting at 2:00 p.m. ET.

A new Forever stamp, Holiday Delights, will be issued by the U.S. Postal Service. This stamp draws on vintage ornaments and Scandinavian folk art to create unique digital illustrations of four holiday icons.

WASHINGTON, DC — The United States Postal Service provided new service performance data yesterday to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, indicating performance continued overarching upward improvement while ensuring trucks run on time and adhering to the Postal Service’s existing transportation schedule.

WASHINGTON, DC — As part of ongoing preparations for the November election, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy held a conference call today with the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Election Committee. This second meeting with NASS follows an Aug. 27 conference call with the NASS President and Election Committee Chair and co-Chair in addition to a substitute for the President-elect. On Monday, USPS officials held a similar call regarding election preparations with the National Association of State Election Directors.

WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Postal Service today issued the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor stamp. The Forever stamp was dedicated in a virtual ceremony and is being sold at Post Office locations nationwide and online at usps.com/mayflower.

CHARLOTTE, NC – As part of its ongoing effort to ensure that voters and election officials have the information they need to successfully use the U.S. Mail to vote in the November general elections, the U.S. Postal Service has launched a new Election Mail website. The website, which provides clear and concise information about voting by mail, is available 24/7 by going to: usps.com/votinginfo.

A dedication ceremony for the stamps will be held during the American Philatelic Society Virtual Stamp Show.

CHARLOTTE, NC – A new stamp issued by the U.S. Postal Service, 19th Amendment: Women Vote, commemorates the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote. The stamp honors the suffrage movement and the people who carried it through to fruition.
